Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal data LLM Decision Lab collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

LLM Decision Lab is an AI model comparison service operated by [your legal entity name] at https://ai-choice-lab.com. This policy covers our app and website. It does not cover the practices of the third-party providers listed below, which have their own privacy policies.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work:

  • Account details: your name, email address, and account role.
  • Your prompts and settings: the prompt you write and the task type, output format, audience, tone, and models you choose.
  • Results: the model answers, the AI judge scores and recommendation, and the comparisons you save to your History.
  • Plan and usage data: your plan, subscription status, monthly comparison count, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers that link your account to your billing.
  • Technical data needed to run the app, such as your login session token and timestamps of your activity.

3. How we use it

We use your data to:

  • run the comparisons you ask for and show you the results;
  • store, display, and export your comparison history;
  • apply your plan's monthly limits and keep your billing status correct;
  • provide support, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems;
  • meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Who else sees your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the providers that make the service work:

  • AI model providers: when you run a comparison, your prompt and settings are sent to the models you selected (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Google) so they can generate answers. Their own policies govern how they handle that data.
  • Web search provider: if you turn on source grounding, your prompt is also sent to Perplexity's search API to fetch live sources.
  • Stripe: we share your email address and subscription details so Stripe can process payments and manage your plan. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
  • Our hosting provider: the app, database, and file storage run on Base44, which processes data on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose data where the law requires it, or where needed to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, its status, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we can match your account to your payments. We never receive or store your full card number.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We may also collect anonymous usage analytics, such as which features are used, to improve the service. The app does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep your data

Comparisons stay in your History until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Plan, payment, and usage records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as the law requires for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

You can delete individual comparisons from your History, change your default preferences in Settings, and manage or cancel your plan from Manage billing on the Pricing page.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email us at [your support email] to make a request, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

9. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit, our API credentials are stored server-side and are never exposed to your browser, and access to production data is limited. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you suspect a problem with your account.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Subscriptions are for adults. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where your data is processed

Our providers may process your data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The last updated date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will tell you about material changes before they apply.
